Niesen is a reinterpretation of the classic beer garden chair in a clear, functional design and with reduced material choice, making it easy to replace and recycle parts. The chair is named after a famous swiss mountain that is specifically known through it’s iconic triangular shape. With the Niesen chair, the bend has not only aesthetic reasons, but is key to it’s function. It allows the seat stays to completely fold into the back stays. This way, the chair can be stacked in a very compact manner, minimizing storage space for seasonal outdoor gastronomy and events.
